North London Land Crab - Digital Download

£30.00

An early exploration of the Land Crab, North London (Shoreditch Variant).

This thing, believe it or not, survives by its ability to blend in with it’s adopted area by digging a series of potholes into the soft tarmac of the road surface and lowering itself down flush with the top of its shell, which it has evolved over the years to resemble a council manhole cover ….. quite ingenious really ….. I had never seen one until the recent Pandemic had made our streets quieter and less populated at night ….. by the way, they are HUGE !!!
